Award-Winning Car Hire Website Carrentals.co.uk Hosts Second 'Book & Donate' Day
Online rentals expert announces GBP1 per booking event with proceeds going to homeless charity StreetSmart

SURREY, ENGLAND, January 25, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carrentals.co.uk, the car hire website which helps travellers save money on rentals in over 15,000 locations, will host its second 'Book & Donate' day on January 25th 2012. 'Book & Donate' donates GBP1 per booking made via Carrentals.co.uk to dedicated UK homeless charity StreetSmart.

The first ever 'Book & Donate' day was held by Carrentals.co.uk on January 11th and benefitted StreetSmart to the tune of over GBP330. StreetSmart works with other charity organisations in 19 UK cities to raise money for the homeless to enjoy education, training, housing and health programs. The charity enjoys celebrity backing in the shape of Stephen Fry, Neil Morrissey and Richard Bacon.

Each and every car hire booking made through our site on that day contributes a pound to StreetSmart's valuable work."

Forthcoming Carrentals.co.uk 'Book & Donate' days are slated for February 8th and 22nd, and March 7th and 21st.

StreetSmart conducts its main fundraising drives each November and December and partners up with leading UK restaurants. In the past leading restaurants to feature have included Nobu, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, with the donation format being a pound added to every customer's bill.
