Duff McKagan's Loaded will kick off their UK tour this autumn with a show at Fibbers in York.

YORK, ENGLAND, October 08, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Loaded, the American rock band led by former Guns N' Roses star Duff McKagan, are set to perform in York later this month.
 
Their show at Fibbers on Monday October 31st will be the opening night of the group's latest UK and Ireland tour, which also includes gigs in Glasgow, Dublin, Bristol and London.
 
Fans of the band will no doubt be keen to hear tracks from new studio album The Taking, which was released in April this year.
 
Although arguably most famous as the bassist in Guns N' Roses during their early 1990s heyday, McKagan has carved out a successful career since leaving the band in 1997.
 
As well as performing alongside the likes of Slash and Scott Weiland in Velvet Revolver, he former Loaded in 1999 to play material from his unreleased solo album Beautiful Disease.
 
Despite several hiatuses and a series of line-up changes, the band have recorded three studio albums and received critical praise for their bluesy, stripped-down brand of rock.
 
Tickets for the York performance are available online, priced at GBP17. Doors will open at 19:30 GMT on the night, with support coming from Dear Superstar and Riot:Noise.
