Bangkok's Sweat Rock Partyhouse is holding a five-night celebration of John Lennon and The Beatles.

Starting from July 10th, Sweat Rock Partyhouse is hosting five consecutive nights of concerts and recordings, with covers band The Betters taking the stage to perform their own versions of the songs.

The full title of the series is Come Together: A Tribute to John Lennon, but visitors can expect to hear tracks written by Paul McCartney and perhaps even Ringo Starr.

Imagine, Working Class Hero and Grow Old with Me are among the tracks the band could play if they choose to dip into Lennon's solo material.

Admission costs 800 baht (GBP16.30) and attendees can find the venue on Viphavadee in the centre of the Thai capital.

The action will kick off at 18:00 local time each night and go on until 22:00, after which the bar's standard club nights will begin.

Sweat Rock Partyhouse is a venue dedicated to classic tunes from the 1960s and 1970s, claiming that music from that era boasts greater sincerity than modern songs.
