MILAN, ITALY, June 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Some of the biggest names in alternative music will feature at Milan's Gods of Metal concert this year, including Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Cradle of Filth and Europe.

The line-up will be a dream come true for many veteran rockers and thousands of fans look set to descend on the city's FieraMilano venue on June 22nd.

It will be the 15th year that Gods of Metal has taken place and the honour of topping the bill has gone to Birmingham band Judas Priest, who have been performing for more than 40 years.

Led by Rob Halford, the group have sold more than 50 million albums and are famous for their leather-clad stage presence.

Black metal fans will be well aware of controversy-baiters Cradle of Filth and 1980s rock bands Whitesnake and Europe need no introduction.

Completing the bill will be The Cavalera Conspiracy, Mr Big, Epica, Duff McKagan's Loaded and Baptized in Blood.

The first act will take the stage at 11:00 BST and Judas Priest are set to finish at 23:30.

Tickets cost EUR60 (GBP52.75) plus booking fees and are available online.
